FIDM Hosting In-Person and Virtual Open House Events This October

As we head into the holiday season, we’re hosting two Open House events for fall, both in October: an in-person, on-campus event on Saturday, October 23, and a virtual event the following Thursday, October 28. All are invited to join us for one or both events. 

FIDM Student Ambassadors will attending our in-person event on Saturday, October 23, to offer a first-hand perspective on what it's like to be a student. Learn about clubs on campus, student activities, and the ins and outs of the majors, curriculum, classrooms, faculty, and general vibe.

We are extending the invitation to FIDM Alumni as well, as the FIDM Career Center will be meeting with grads to discuss career options, offer networking opportunities, give resume tips, and explore continued education at FIDM with our MBA and Bachelor programs.

Tables will be set up in Grand Hope Park, adjacent to the FIDM campus, so attendees can chat with department chairs, representatives from admissions, housing, financial aid, and more. Campus tours will be offered throughout the event and maps of Downtown Los Angeles will be distributed so guests can plan their lunch break and a walking tour of the neighborhood and downtown community.

Our virtual program will be broken up into two discussions; department representatives will talk about our creative and business majors, and how they prepare grads for success in today’s job market.

An Admissions Advisor will interview an alum as they discuss important topics including: a winning portfolio, when to apply, scholarships, and housing options.
